This used to be the best curry house in Bridgwater, but over the last couple of years has become decidedly hit and miss as to what you're going to get. They seem to have shifted emphasis away from small intimate groups to large loud/rowdy groups.
Amazing food banquet night
Chicken bhuna was delicious. Cosy atmosphere and very friendly staff.
Possibly the best Indian in the town , great customer service,always makes you feel welcome, food is always cooked to a good standard and portion sizes are more than generous.
The English Raj is a safe bet if you're looking for Indian food in the Bridgwater area. The meals were very tasty and came in reasonable quantities. The place itself is nicely decorated and clean. The staff was pleasant and very welcoming. Finally, it is quite cheap for what you get! So all in all, a very good experience!
