Nice shop as I'm a Lidl customer all over Britain working away from home but a loyal customer, one thing I wasn't happy about was the check out assistants attitude.. I'm putting it down to new staff and will still be shopping at Lidl as we all have to learn but I thought I was a goal keeper when I was trying to catch my shopping, on a good note it was still better than Aldi where they can't straighten there arms, sorry about that I just had some of the wine that I bought in the shop. Keep up the good work.
Don't like the til staff scanning the items so fast we can't have time to bag the shopping. They could offer help bagging if they wanna be so fast, but they don't.
We now love coming here for our weekly big shop every week. We save on average 30 -40 by using Lidl rather than fellow competitors such as Asda or Tesco, and we found them the cheaper of the main supermarket stores as it was. We get everything from fresh bakery products baked in store, all our fruit and veg needs. All our meats which have the U.K stamp and at such affordable prices. My partner loved the middle aisle where they have weekly new offers on everything from diy and tools, to bedding, foot wear and toys. Would definitely recommend.
Quiet - tue looks best day to shop. Usual low prices and the staff are now more helpful and cheery. Shame not more choice of items. Like the new shop.
Nice clean new look store, with customer toilets, looks great. Bad thing not many till open and self serve doesn't take cash and is card only, so if you only want the one item and paying cash enjoy a long wait. Somebody dropped the ball on that one!
